When an owner has to take a unit out of service for maintenance, downtime can be critical.  Pro Tech Turbine Services maintains an inventory of overhauled 501KB5 and 501KC5 engines.

These engines are available for either Direct Exchange (the Customer keeps the overhauled engine and sends Pro Tech the unit coming out of service) or Rental (for the period of the overhaul, the customer uses the Pro Tech engine and returns the rental engine once their engine is put back in service).

With advance planning, the exchange engine can be delivered to site and available to be installed as soon as your engine is removed, keeping downtime to an absolute minimum.  We can also have our technicians there to do the change-outs.
